Contents

Digital tools are rapidly changing teaching—especially through AI. BiUSpace offers a protected space to try out these technologies, integrate them meaningfully into biology lessons, and reflect on both opportunities and risks.

Students and lecturers can work here in various creative rooms: for example, with AR/VR setups, 360° videos, thermal imaging cameras, AI tools, or 3D printing. Basic skills are taught in the introductory courses at our department, while advanced courses focus on developing specific materials and teaching ideas.

There is also an in-depth elective course: Digital media in the classroom: 3D, 360°, etc.

The course offers you the chance to test your skills directly in the design of biology lessons. New offerings are also planned, such as a video workshop (From the lab to your own clip), workshops on VR/AR applications, and an AI seminar on the benefits and risks in everyday school life.
